  • Use package pick-up to avoid carrying shopping bags.
  • Enjoy a variety of dining options, from quick-service to sit-down restaurants. You're also allowed to bring your own snacks.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes, and consider bringing sunscreen, a hat, and a jacket depending on the weather forecast.
  • Visit the Measuring Station at Guest Relations or Fireman's Landing at the FireHouse Play Place to measure your child's height and receive a color-coded wristband for ride entry.
  • Put your phone number on your child's color-coded wristband in case you get separated.
  • March–October the park's turnstiles and The Square opens at 8:30 a.m. Fuel up for your day with breakfast at Molly's Mill.

What time does Silver Dollar City open?

Silver Dollar City hours vary throughout the year based on the season and special events. The park typically opens in the morning, with extended hours during peak seasons and festivals. Be sure to review the current operating calendar before your visit.

Is Silver Dollar City open in December?

Yes. The park operates in November and December for its An Old Time Christmas festival. Most rides remain open during the Christmas season, except water rides. Weather conditions may temporarily affect ride availability.

How long should I plan to stay at Silver Dollar City?

Most visitors spend at least one full day enjoying the rides, shows, artisan demonstrations, and Marvel Cave tour. During major festivals, two full days allow more time to experience seasonal entertainment and special events.

Can you bring food into Silver Dollar City?

Yes. You are welcome to bring snacks, beverages, and small coolers into the park. Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

What age can children enter the park without an adult?

Guests must be 16 years of age or older to enter the park unaccompanied. Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by a supervising companion age 16 or older.

Are children 3 years old and younger admitted free?

Yes. Children ages 3 and younger receive free admission to Silver Dollar City.

How much is parking at Silver Dollar City?

General self-parking at Silver Dollar City is included with admission. Preferred parking is available for $22, and Premier parking, located closest to the main entrance, is available for $67. Accessible parking is offered near the main gate for vehicles displaying a valid placard. Prices are subject to change.

Are strollers, wheelchairs, and electric carts available at Silver Dollar City?

Yes. Strollers, wheelchairs, and electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) are available for rent inside the park on a first-come basis. Single strollers are $24 per day and double strollers are $28 per day. Prices are subject to change. Wheelchairs and ECVs are offered for an additional fee, and availability may be limited during peak seasons. Availability can be confirmed directly with the park prior to arrival.

Are lockers available at Silver Dollar City?

Yes. All-day lockers (11" x 10.5" x 20") are available for $12 per day and can be accessed at multiple locations throughout the park. The same PIN code is used when moving between locations. Family-sized lockers (16" x 10.5" x 20") are available behind the ticket booths for $16 per day and provide unlimited access to one assigned locker. Prices are subject to change.

Does Silver Dollar City serve alcoholic beverages?

No. Alcohol is not sold or permitted anywhere on park premises.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking, including tobacco and e-cigarettes, is permitted only in designated smoking areas. Smoking is not allowed inside buildings, in ride or venue lines, or along park walkways. There are five designated smoking areas located throughout the park.

Does Silver Dollar City have a dress code?

Yes. Silver Dollar City maintains a family-friendly dress policy. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times, and guests are expected to wear appropriate attire while enjoying rides and attractions. Swimwear is limited to children age 8 and younger, and a shirt with shorts or pants is required before boarding any ride. Clothing with offensive language or suggestive material is not permitted. Shoes with built-in skates or wheels are prohibited.

Are cameras and video cameras permitted in the park and at the shows?

Yes. Cameras are permitted throughout the park and at most shows. However, cameras, cell phones, and selfie sticks are considered loose articles and are not permitted on most rides and attractions.

Is Silver Dollar City suitable for guests with mobility concerns?

Silver Dollar City has some hilly terrain typical of the Ozarks, and many attractions are located at the bottom of the park. Benches and shaded areas are available throughout the park. Electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) are available for rent to assist with mobility.

Does Silver Dollar City have rides for children?

Yes. The Grand Exposition, Half Dollar Holler, and Fireman's Landing have play areas designed specifically for children. In addition to these themed areas, the park offers a variety of attractions that families can enjoy together.

Are loose articles allowed on the rides?

No. Loose articles such as hats, purses, bags, phones, cameras, and keys are not permitted on most rides. Waist or fanny packs are not permitted on The Giant Barn Swing, Outlaw Run, PowderKeg, Thunderation or Wildfire. Lockers are available for rent throughout the park, and unsecured storage bins are provided at many attractions. Personal items taken on Mystic River Falls, the American Plunge and RiverBlast will get very wet.

Are there ride restrictions?

Yes. Some rides have height, size, and health restrictions established by the ride manufacturers to ensure guest safety. Specific requirements are posted at each attraction, and a ride guidebook is available at the Rentals/Lost and Found Booth inside the park.

What do Silver Dollar City tickets include?

Admission includes access to rides, shows, attractions, and cave tours (except for Lantern Light tours). Select games, classes, food, and merchandise require an additional purchase.

Does Silver Dollar City serve breakfast?

Yes. A breakfast buffet is served at Molly's Mill Restaurant from 8:30 am to 11:00 am during operating days from March through October.

Can you bring pets to Silver Dollar City?

No. Only trained service animals are permitted inside the park.

Can you leave the park and return the same day?

Yes. You can leave the park and return the same day. Retain your ticket for re-entry.

Why do my Silver Dollar City E-Tickets only have one name listed on them?

The name displayed on the E-Ticket is the primary ticket holder. All tickets within the reservation are valid for your party.

When does the second day of my two day Silver Dollar City ticket expire?

You have five days from first day of entry to use the second day of a two-day ticket.

What is a Silver Dollar City TrailBlazer Pass and where can I buy it?

The TrailBlazer Pass provides priority access to select rides, including Outlaw Run, WildFire, PowderKeg, FireFall, The Giant Barn Swing, Thunderation, Fire In The Hole, The Flooded Mine, Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train, Electro Spin, Magnificent Wave Carousel, Time Traveler, Mystic River Falls, American Plunge, and RiverBlast. The standard TrailBlazer Pass excludes Fire In The Hole and Mystic River Falls. TrailBlazer Plus includes one ride on each of those attractions, while TrailBlazer Premium offers unlimited rides on both. Riders must meet all posted height and safety requirements, and attractions may temporarily close due to weather. TrailBlazer Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable and can be purchased at park ticket booths and guest service locations.
